Exploring fairly tales 

1. Remembering: Memory game

Students match images with keywords from the story. This involves recognizing and recalling information like characters and objects ("Grandma", "Wolf", etc.).

Objective: Recall key characters and elements from the story.

Instructions Match the pictures with the correct word (e.g., Grandma, Wolf, Basket, Forest).


2. Understanding: Sequencing cards 

By placing events in order, students show comprehension of the story. It requires interpreting visuals and connecting them with the storyline.

Objective: Demonstrate understanding of the story's plot.

Instruction: Look at the picture and select the correct option according to the story plot.

3. Applying: What should she do?

Students use their story knowledge to make safe choices (e.g., whether to pick flowers). It involves applying learning to a real-like situation.

Objective: 
Instruction: Apply story knowledge to make safe choices.
 

 4. Analyzing: who is mean? who is caring?

Students identify character traits and classify them. This requires breaking down information and judging actions to assign suitable adjectives.

Objective: Identify and give each character and adjective

Instructions: Complete the chart giving the corresponding adjective to the character

 5. Evaluating: Good or bad?

Students compare characters’ decisions (e.g., Red Riding Hood vs. the hunter) and judge which was the wisest. This requires critical thinking and the ability to justify opinions with evidence from the story.

Objective: Judge character actions.

6. Creating: Make your own ending

Students are asked to imagine and write a different ending for the story. This task involves generating new ideas and using creativity, which is the highest level of Bloom’s taxonomy.

Objective: Encourage students to use their imagination to create an original ending for the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

Instructions: Think about what could happen if the story had a different ending. What if the wolf changed his mind? What if another character appeared? Write or draw your own ending to the story using your creativity. Be original and have fun!
